Application
The use of microsilica in industry
Microsilica has a wide range of applications in industry. It works perfectly as a mineral supplement. First of all, it is most popular in the construction industry, because in this industry it is treated as an ingredient added to concrete, as well as mortars and many other cement-based products. The use of microsilica has enabled the creation of the largest and most impressive concrete structures around the world.
In the construction industry, microsilica is used as an additive in the production of:
- Bridge concretes
- Intended for plaster repairs
- Shotcrete
- White concrete accessories
- Polymers
- Thinners, agents for washing and cleaning concrete
- Special concretes, e.g. refractory
- Special cements

The use of microsilica for refractory products:
- Production of unshaped refractory and aluminosilicate materials
- Production of bricks, tiles, sanitary equipment, clay pipes for high-temperature processes
- Sic in the production of furnace linings
- Production of special refractory ceramics
- Recipe of monolithic refractory materials
Microsilica in agriculture, forestry and fishing:
- Anti-sintering agent in artificial fertilizers
- Artificial silica fertilizer used in agriculture

Other possibilities of using microsilica:
- Pads
- Materials for pads
- Seals
- Coated rubber products and inks
- Plastic products, including mixing and conversion
- Products intended for digging shafts
- Glass
- Additive to floor putties
- Paint
- Inorganic pigments
- Cosmetic industry
- Process materials used in the chemical industry
- Enables stabilization in mines and quarries
